Most of Joseph A. Aquino's 20-year career in real estate has been spent successfully partnering with Faith Hope Consolo, who heads up Prudential Douglas Elliman's newly expanded Retail Leasing and Sales Division.

Mr. Aquino, at Prudential Douglas Elliman, works closely with prominent international retailers to identify and secure the best locations for their U.S. retail operations, along with representing some of New York's top landlords in finding high profile retailers for their spaces.

In addition, he has been instrumental in establishing and fine tuning the famed leasing campaign - "To Find the Best in Retail You Need Faith" - integrating the marketing of their tony properties with Faith's catchy name. Together the duo has completed transactions with Cartier, Alfred Dunhill, Bottega Veneta, Creed, Godiva, Fresh and Jimmy Choo, among others. During the 90's, they were retained by The Urban Development Corporation of New York State for the retail planning of the 42nd Street Redevelopment project, which attracted Disney as a key tenant. The pair has also completed transactions over the years with well-known landlords, such as Tishman Speyer, Silverstein, Rudin, Helmsley Enterprises and the Trump Organization.

Prior to joining Prudential Douglas Elliman in 2005, Mr. Aquino served as Managing Director of Garrick-Aug Worldwide, Ltd., a retail brokerage and consulting firm that was founded by his partner, Ms. Consolo, in 1987. Mr. Aquino's impressive real estate career also included work on the investment sales end of the business. Prior to his tenure with Garrick-Aug, he brokered the sale of an enclosed shopping mall, as well as numerous apartment and industrial buildings.

From 1978 to 1985, Mr. Aquino was General Manager for the world's largest health club chain, Bally Fitness, where he had full profit and loss responsibilities.

Today, Mr. Aquino and Ms. Consolo have made a name for themselves as a prolific retail brokerage team, representing a host of luxury retailers, as well as some of the finest retail addresses around.

At Prudential Douglas Elliman, the pair provide comprehensive retail expertise to an array of tenants and landlords, both nationally and internationally. The retail team identifies and secures the best locations for prominent international retailer's U.S. operations, as well as represents some of the country's top landlords in finding high profile retailers for their spaces.
