They hold the whole city in their hands - the realtors, owners and managers of New York's skyscrapers, shops and warehouses. They keep the wheels of the city's economy turning, and revitalize the city - from downtown to Times Square to the Meatpacking District. Who are these people?

We're a city of shoppers that attracts tourists and greenbacks from around the globe. Retail stores are economic generators and also create exciting streetscapes and destinations. The Meatpacking District was simply a blighted industrial area without the luxury shops while Times Square was simply an area of ill repute. Now, thanks to these folks, we can find M&M's and good eats.

Through her position with Prudential Douglas Elliman, the industry's Queen of Retail has expanded her fashionable touch to all five boroughs.

She completed 63 deals last year and has averaged at least one per week for several years running. Her fashion knowledge spans the globe and she is now working with Halston to relaunch its iconic brand by identifying an appropriate city location.

Consolo has worked with many celebrated jewelers and recently helped diamond wholesalers Kwiat open a Madison Avenue store. She has also worked on deals with Cartier, Leiber, Kentshire Galleries, Graff, Pomellato, and de Grisogono.

She is the exclusive agent for stores such as Ports 1961, Niwaka, Penhaligon's, Fogal of Switzerland, Diab'less, Atelier Aimee, Jacadi, T Salon + T Emporium, Miguelina, and Neuhaus, and acts as building agent for many property owners, recently bringing Morton's Steakhouse to Brooklyn.
