Consolo and Aquino of Pru. Douglas Elliman sign Ottomanelli Brothers

Faith Hope Consolo, chairman, and Joseph Aquino, executive vice president, of
Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Leasing and Sales Division, represented the landlord in
bringing Zagat-rated restaurateur and fine meat purveyor Ottomanelli Brothers to 1325
Fifth Ave.

Having owned and operated restaurants and fine meat shops in New York City for over
100 years, Ottomanelli's expansion into Harlem, to a location at the corner of 111th St.,
signals a gourmet renaissance within the historic community.

"Ottomanelli's will open a restaurant with an outdoor café facing the park on Fifth
Ave.," said Consolo. "It will be a brasserie but in the traditional style we have come to
expect from this famous company."

"Ottomanelli's, a highly respected name in the restaurant industry, is bringing a whole
new dining dimension to Harlem. In the company's 100-year commitment to New York,
this family business has transformed into a multifaceted empire," saidConsolo. "Residents
of Harlem will immediately embrace Ottomanelli's not only for its quality, but also for the
company's strong sense of tradition."

"Ottomanelli's has established an international reputation as well, shipping its products
to discerning gourmands around the word," said Aquino. "This business is ideal for Harlem,
which is known for its international flavor."

Consolo and Aquino have long heralded the retail resurgence within Harlem and
established a strong presence in the neighborhood, through new offices and exclusive
agencies. The duo, along with retail consultant Arthur Maglio, has represented many
Harlem landlords in their expanded leasing needs.

"What separates Harlem from other parts of the city is that this neighborhood boasts a
large contingent of longtime residents, along with a new influx of owners, renters and
visitors-since Harlem is known internationally, its residents hail from all parts of the world.
Also, most of Harlem's buildings are low-rise, ensuring that the amount of sunlight that
pours into the neighborhood is unmatched anywhere else," said Aquino. "And let's not
forget the proximity of Central Park, which starts at 110th St."

"We are seeing a distinct change in Harlem's retail landscape and are thrilled to be
playing a large role in the area's transformation," said Consolo. "We are repositioning some
of Harlem's most sought-after retail space, all of which has been restored to its original
grandeur."
